One of the oldest forms of bread, “pancakes “ and its culinary variations –cross centuries, civilizations, and cultures. Pancakes are human history, from the Neolithic age to the Greek and Roman eras to the Middle Ages through to present day. Pancakes are complex and diverse, and for the less practiced can be tricky and messy to make. The final product can turn out satisfyingly exceptional or tragically incomparable. So too the human experience along this journey we call life.
 

Sit with a co-worker, business associate or loved one and ask about their encounters with pancakes… then wait, patiently, to see the human experience unfold. Something special happens! People share, laugh, cry, and reflect. As one person’s story becomes known to his or her listeners, unconsciously, pleasantly and unexpectedly the human senses converge.
